For a single movement, share one pickup, one destination and the cargo details. For project hire, include the intended working days, locations, expected trips and likely waiting time. Vehicle assignment and availability are confirmed against the agreed scope; they are not implied by submitting an enquiry.
Make the responsibilities clear
A driver-operated vehicle does not automatically include a separate loading crew, forklift or crane. Agree the loading and unloading arrangements, waiting terms, trip scope and any overnight requirements before accepting the quotation. When the project changes, ask for the revised arrangement to be confirmed.
